Perfectly true; I hadn't grasped that. I apologize. I think I'd find it
more natural, though, if simply bringing a document to the front caused the
secondary windows of all other documents to vanish and so reduce the
clutter, since their visibility can be of no use - can it? Thx - m.


That seems like it would be really confusing.

We have bugs complaining about the current behavior now. (minimize the document window and all of the other windows temp close)
