Two ?'s: Default code for NSView & FileMerge problem

  • Subject: Two ?'s: Default code for NSView & FileMerge problem

When making an Objective-C NSView subclass file in PB, default code for initWithFrame: and drawRect: is supplied. But subclassing NSView from IB, the file that it writes is empty. Is there anyway to rectify that?

Also, are there any outstanding issues with FileMerge? Whenever I use it, I end up with mangled code :-( (I get this lovely picture of what it's going to do to the code, inserting methods in various places, but the files themselves end up with code in all sorts of places).

Thanks,

Michael
