And I tried to file a bug report, but the system told me that I "do not
have access to this function".

Me too. "You do not have access to this Application, Please get access and
try again." Get access how? I have submitted half a dozen reports to this
list to which people responded that this was worth filing a bug. But I have
never done so because I'm forbidden to do so. I can only surmise that Apple
denies use of the bug reporter to its lowly non-paying ADC "online" members
(perhaps in an effort to keep down the number of reports). m.

I'm a lowly non-paying ADC online member, and I can log bugs just fine. So it's not that. But I don't know what it *is*, either -- I know a number of people with the same difficulty. Can anybody from Apple perhaps clarify what's going on here? Apple is losing valuable bug reports from the developer community as a result of this.
