Do you mean NSToolbar? That is the strip of buttons that you see in Mail
and PB, right below the title bar. You can find a simple example in
/Developer/Examples/AppKit/SimpleToolbar.
NSStatusBar is for putting items in the right end of the menu bar; they
are visible no matter what app is active. It's not really Finder's.
