Hi,

I'm using the December 2001 DeveloperTools and have to open a PB-Project previously edited with a newer (Beta-)version of PB which doesn't seem to work.

1) Is there an option to download merely the Project Builder.app? I've got a 56k-modem and don't want to download the whole 230MB devtool stuff now, because they're still labeled "Beta"

Well, Project Builder.app has it's own frameworks which define things like PB's NIBs and alot of its functions, so I believe that it would be quite impossible to work with a newer Project Builder.app without updating the frameworks first, which is what the Beta Installer Package does.

2) Does anybody know when the April DeveloperTools will get Release status? Some time ago, I heard rumors saying that only the gcc v3 compiler is still buggy, everything else should be OK and won't change until the final release...

Well, Jaguar will make the gcc3 compiler default, which makes me think that that is also when the tools will be final... just a guess however.

Can anyone here give some information about these?

Thanks,
Dirk Stegemann
