Did the study include users who had used the same software for twenty years
and have key commands committed to muscle memory? While editing in Emacs, I
regurlarly save all of my files. Sometimes I do it so automatically and
unconsiously that I don't realize until later that I did it. I doubt that
is slower than moving the mouse to "File/Save All..".
