Ummm... What about MS Windows system administrator? The job is somewhat a pain, but you get job security and enough work to feed an extended tribe :-) Also, if you really know your stuff (and I haven't personally encounter many of those) you are worth your weight of gold. Good network administrator and DBAs are also needed no matter what.

As for as "programmer" jobs go... I will personally forget about it. Short of moving to Bangladesh and running a body shop, there is not much in it. Outside high level conceptual/architectural/design work, everything else is pretty much commodities. There are few exceptions, but I will not bet the farm on that.
