I do have my own domain name, which I'd like to offer for you guys on the
developer lists.
the domain name is called objc-source.org, and I've reserved approx. 10
usernames for my own use, which still leaves a number of combinations
available for you guys out there. ;)
-So if Jason puts up his server, I'd like to point my objc-source.org
directly to his IP address, and anyone who wants it can have a free email
address.
I'd like this domain to be used for developers only, so that we can
handle maintaining it, since if we allow anybody to create an account,
we'd most likely get too many account requests.
When you see that I've changed domain name, it's an indication that it works.
I will post an announcement on this list, when the service is available.
If you have any questions, please write to me in private, as I'd like to
spare the list for messages like "please sign me up!". -I'm not sure
whether such messages would be appreciated on the list. ;)
Should the service break down one day, either because there is problems
with my domain name or Jason's server, I can point the domain name to
some other server, or Jason can make a new domain name point to his server.
I cannot guarantee for how long this will be available, as I'm not trying
to make any money on it, but indeed, I will do my best to keep it up and
running, and I believe Jason will as well.
Love,
Jens
