And I have heard similar stories about folks with Credit Card accounts, Amazon accounts, and -- even -- Kagi.

My point was not that PayPal is any good -- frankly, I don't have enough experience to render a useful opinion in that regards. I was simply pointing out that every service has its strengths and weaknesses.

Well, Unsanity has an account with them and PayPal decided to permanently lock it. We can't access the money, we can't close the account to get the money. And PayPal has been completely unresponsive to emails asking about the account.
