I usually lurk here, rather than post, but I'll save Erik from having to
answer this time. ;-)

Yes, it is. A lot of people asked me about it at WWDC, too.

Nope! Don't know for sure. (And I'm one of the authors.)

Given what's done and what's left to be done, I think the July date is the
best estimate right now. I'm 99% sure you won't be able to get your hands on
it before then. We're really close to completion, but there are final editing
passes, reviews, printing, binding, shipping to distributors, and so on to be
done and those all take time.

Don't worry, the book *will* come out!

And for my admittedly very biased opinion: As this project comes together, I
am getting more and more excited about it. IMHO it will have been worth the
wait.

And, to answer another frequently asked question that I answered a lot at
WWDC: the MiscKit isn't dead. I had to put it on hold for over a year so that
I could get the book written. The book ended up being a much bigger project
than I could have ever anticipated, and I felt that the positive impact the
book could have on the community made it worth the temporary sacrifice to the
MiscKit. Now that the book is almost done, I can actually envision a time, not
long distant, when I'll be spending my free time on the MiscKit once again.
(Yay!)
