Do we have *REAL* Perl support? Last time I checked in on the
CamelBones project, it wasn't fully fleshed out, but a darn good start.
If by "real," you mean is it possible to create useful applications with
it, without resorting to any Objective-C, the answer is yes, we've had
real Perl support for quite some time now.
If by "real," and "fully fleshed out," you're asking if it supports a
particular feature, well, I'd need to know precisely what you need to
answer that. The only feedback I've received on it has been wholly
positive. If you tried it and found it lacking in some way, why haven't
I heard from you?
I haven't done anything in Python or Ruby, so I can't say at all how
that's coming along.
Judging by the recent announcement, the Python bridge is coming along
very well. The latest version implements subclassing; that is, creating
a Python subclass of an Objective-C class. That's something that
CamelBones is still a few weeks away from.
I know nothing at all about the Ruby bridge, as I don't (yet) speak
Ruby. I'm sure I'll get around to it sooner or later, though - I like to
be aware of as many languages as I can, in order to give myself as many
options as possible.
