John,
The problem is that Panther is no longer a "secret". It and it's features
have been much discussed in the news and on the Internet. Apple has even
filed a patent application for it's "fast switching" technology. That's
hardly trying to keep the lid on something. While Panther is still a
"developer" release, where do you draw the line between what is public
knowledge and publicly available information and what is secret ? I don't
advocate ignoring the non-disclosure agreements, but Apple has publicly
disclosed all the major features of Panther. Try typing "Panther" to the
search field on the Apple Developers webpage. There is all kinds of info
there and you don't need to be a developer to see it. Shouldn't stuff which
Apple publicly discloses be freely discussable here on this forum ?
