Really I was wondering if anyone had any comments that would help me

Any thoughts?
Sessions are generally useful, but are that much more valuable if you
have done background in the various areas. The questions you ask during
the Q&A are your best source of knowledge, so being up to speed on the
issues (if not the actual content) will be very helpful. You may want
to bring a laptop or notebook to take notes; again, if you have a good
idea what you want to know in advance, you will be more alert for those
issues to come up and either answer or not answer your questions.
The engineers are around -- bug them. Last year I was too hyper to
spend much time with the engineers, but I also didn't do enough
background work. Some things I already knew, and mostly stuff was knew,
but when I didn't know the context, I felt a bit unsure whether I was
learning anything useful or not.
The other thing is just to meet people. The lunches are great because
you can chase down developers and engineers and see what they're up to.
The Apple Campus Bash (or whatever the equivalent this year might be)
is a fantastic time to meet people.
If you're a newbie, though, it's hard to go wrong, because the
information density is high. Being overwhelmed is a bigger danger than
not getting enough out of it. WWDC is fantastic. (I'm not going this
year because I *had* to buy a new Mac, instead.)
