It would seem so, but at least it's a nice colour. I have a 466MHz Lime
iBook, recently upgraded to 576MB from 192. :) I also cut my teeth on C64s
(and an Amstrad) so I don't notice any slowness. I don't recall even
noticing much difference when I tripled my RAM. Though it's amazing how
much slower machines of today can be than the old 64K machines.

The PB menus just fit on the screen (with no menu extras) assuming I'm not
missing out on any. Juggling my app's window with the IB palette,
inspector, and nib window in Interface Builder is pretty tortuous.

To answer the question, I think any laptop which runs OS X is fine for OS
X development, but try to get a nice big screen. Also, remember to make
sure your programs will still work on smaller screens if possible.
