Does anyone know if the WO SOAP stuff is better than the Cocoa/Carbon stuff?

Those are not quiet equivalent... WO provides the server side of things by adding a very thin layer around Apache's Axis:

The Carbon Web services framework is on the client side.

Hmm, unfortunately EOF is now based on JDBC, so maybe it's not what you're looking for, performance wise.

Ummm... not to be picky but... EOF is not "based on JDBC"... it's just one of the EOAdaptor one could use (albeit the default one). Plus, "performance" is overrated ;-)

The objc version of EOF used to ship with several "native" adaptors (Informix, ODBC, Oracle, Sybase).
