Ummm... not to be picky but... EOF is not "based on JDBC"... it's just one of the EOAdaptor one could use (albeit the default one). Plus, "performance" is overrated ;-)

Interesting. Are there any non-JDBC EOAdaptors out there in the wild right now, or is it more a theoretical thing?
