OT: WWDC

Hi,

I have been developing Mac software for more than 10 years, but have never
been to a WWDC (even though I lived in Reno.. Just 4 hours from San Jose/San
Francisco).

This year, it looks like I have the time and money to go. Is it worth it?

I am living in Europe now and have to use frequent flyer miles to get there
- just looking for impressions from those who have gone before. If it
matters at all, I am an independent developer and not tied to a big
corporation.

Comments?

Also - where is a good place to stay that will not break the bank?

Thanks,

Trygve
