Almost certainly because it did not happen on the testers machines. Most
likely there is some crucial difference between the software on yoour
machine and that of the testers.
Think about the network problem with 10.2.8. No tester thought about
10Mbps networks. After all if your network is that slow you might well
use a Performa with MacOS 7.5. Not quite, but I hope it makes the point.
