Newbie Question about documentation

  • Subject: Newbie Question about documentation
  • From: Richard Harris <email@hidden>

Hi all.
Just a quick question this time. I see quite a bit the word "documentation" being thrown around.
This may sound stupid, but what exactly is this documentation everyone is so keen on using? I am
not saying that I have not read/downloaded/bought my share of "documentation", but I would expect
some sort of examples of how to impliment it. Am I only dreaming that there is documentation with
clear examples, or is there really such a thing? I know about O'reilly, I have some books.
Unfortunately these books don't really cover what I am trying to do. I know about Apple's own
documentation, I think it is majorly lacking. Am I just not looking in the right spot?
Thanks,
Rich
