Personally, I find the discussions (and subsequent PC Bashing) spawned from the viruses (not Virii) to be much more annoying than the worms themselves. I'd recommend emailing the list administrator if this becomes too troublesome for you to handle. I believe the email is email@hidden, or email@hidden. <Delete>
Thanks,
Josh

Well, not necessarily - the list server just had to think it was coming
from a registered address. Presumably the virus in question opened a
direct SMTP connection to Apple's mail server... that's if we assume
the from address was faked, which unless I'm missing something has not
actually been established.
Perhaps Apple should investigate whether they can (and should) limit
posting to the list from a specific domain (or sub there-of). In fact,
I would expect this to happen anyway - if the reverse DNS from the
sending side doesn't resolve back to the domain or a subdomain of that
in the from address, it's most likely a fake.

P.S. Sorry to offend the various Linux/similar users in my earlier
post; by PC I implicitly meant Windows, as I'm sure you all understood.
Sorry also to those people who access the list from a PC, but it's
getting to the stage where some action has to be taken... I've received
~25 virii from Apple's mailing lists in the past week, which is an
extremely high SNR for me (given in the same period I received about 5
spam/virii from all other [non-Apple] sources combined).
