I don't think you understood what I was doing. I have all cocoa-dev
letters go to its own mailbox, but additionally, those letters which
contain my address in the to/cc would be color-coded -- that way, the
letters which are followups to threads I participated in stand out.
This is exactly what I've been doing, and the transition has thus been
painful for me too, as I've explained in a similar thread on the
Darwin-kernel list (there's threads like this popping up all over, for
those who were wondering).
Mail is too weak & buggy to gracefully handle the new system. I don't
particularly think the changes should be reversed, more that Apple
desperately need to update Mail and fix it's inefficiencies and bugs
with rules.
