I'm replying on list since multiple people could possibly benefit from this.
There is an Eudora plugin called "Kill Attachments" that addresses
this problem. I'm not sure if the one I'm using is the same as what
you'd find on the net or if I modified it myself, but my copy strips
out attachments containing pgp info, vcards, efax, and s/mime
signatures.
I'd be happy to email it to anyone who wants a copy.
I'd also really prefer the new mail software to reject attachments.
There is no reason to ever send an attachment to a mailing list --
post it somewhere and give a url.
