I'm shocked at the number of people still on Eudora.
An e-mail program that can't even understand a digital signature is
past its prime... lay it to rest!

This is getting OT, so please don't reply to this on-list...
"smime.p7s" files are the digital signature files used for encrypting
S/MIME messages to clients that support S/MIME, such as Apple Mail
and Outlook. Unfortunately, there are a few E-Mail clients (I'm
looking at you, Eudora...)
I'm replying on list since multiple people could possibly benefit from
this.
There is an Eudora plugin called "Kill Attachments" that addresses
this problem. I'm not sure if the one I'm using is the same as what
you'd find on the net or if I modified it myself, but my copy strips
out attachments containing pgp info, vcards, efax, and s/mime
signatures.
I'd be happy to email it to anyone who wants a copy.
I'd also really prefer the new mail software to reject attachments.
There is no reason to ever send an attachment to a mailing list --
post it somewhere and give a url.
