All very true.

The only major one why they should be disallowed that I can think
about would be bandwidth (I'm not too keen on downloading somebody's
full-resolution screenshot PDF over my modem either), but with a
sensible size-limit, that problem doesn't exist...

I unfortunately still have dialup. So a size limit is a must for me personally.


As someone else posted earlier, such a size limit seems to already exist, so this shouldn't be an issue for those with dialup.
