IMHO this is the best and most complete solution to the hotkey problem, and it includes an NSView for setting up keyboard shortcuts.

I believe version 3 includes my modifications that look up the keys in the KCHR or uchr tables, so it works for non-US keyboard layouts too. So you'll certainly be wanting 3 over 2 if you want people in other countries to use your software with that keyboard shortcuts window and get the correct keys to show :-)
