Right you are! All I'm doing is throwing the image into an NSImageView and having the view size to fit. Renders beautifully.

NSWorkspace is kind enough to provide iconForFile: and iconForFileType:. Unfortunately, the images both methods return are 32x32 representations of an icon's file. Is it possible to grab a full-sized 128x128 image for a file or file type?
