Subject: Newbie wallowing in documentation

Hello everyone.

I'm a fairly new addition to the Mac world (just over a year) and am now interested in programming for the Mac.

I've downloaded and installed X-code, plenty of the documentation, but I seem to be lost as to where to actually start. Some of the PDF docs are 1000+ pages long - very intimidating for a novice programmer.

My "day job" is Cold Fusion programming / sql database stuff, and I am familiar with other languages - like 6502 assembler (Thanks, Commodore 64).

So, I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to where to actually start.

Thanks!

Thomas.
