But BOMArchiveHelper is just a slightly beefed-up version of the ZIP
command-line tool. I'm using it in Shovel to take care of unpacking
ZIP archives.
I've talked about this at length in a previous thread on exactly this
topic. The list archives are your friend if you need more detail.
And to make searching the list archives painfully easy, use the "Search
lists.apple.com" service that Mailister provides:
Download Mailister <http://projects.gandreas.com/mailister>
Put it somewhere in your applications folder (or the service won't be
recognized)
Log out and back in (or else the system won't know that there is a new
service).
Select BOMArchiveHelper above in Mail.
Select "Search lists.apple.com" from your services menu.
Enjoy the results.
(You can also launch Mailister manually to refine the search parameters
- it will automatically sync itself with the last search string as
well)
