I think the bigger issue is that when you make a new project via
xcode's project templates it should follow the HIG. Right now if you
make an NSDocument application via xcode, it does *not* follow the
HIG. And that needs to be fixed.
The case was similar before when making a new application would have
the Find Backwards command key as Command D instead of Command Shift
G. That was fixed a while ago.
And the HIG can't be "fixed" to say that the proper was is "Untitled"
because that makes almost every single Carbon application that does
follow the HIG wrong.
BTW, making a new folder in the Finder makes the folder name "untitled folder".
Someone mentioned that some old school mac users consider everything
that NeXT did wrong, when this is a case of a someone thinking the
carbon way is inherently wrong.
