IMO the LCD style is too ugly to use because of issues like this--
typically, if it's rendering black text on a white background, it
looks great, but any other combination is awful.
Try CRT antialiasing style and I bet the problem is solved.
Agreed. There is something weird going on with LCD font anti-aliasing
on Tiger...
