Services Menu? Deprecated?

  • Subject: Services Menu? Deprecated?

I'm looking at the recent iPhoto, and am noticing that there is no Services menu.

As a NeXT user and fan of the Services architecture, I am wondering if the concept
of Services (verbs operating on implicit selections in the open document) has been
deprecated. Or, in the case of iPhoto, has the service architecture been used to
implement some of the features (ie. Mail foto), and as such, sports an improved UI model
over the existing architecture.
