No, I've never written a WDEF. Also, I believe, if you use a Carbon window in a Cocoa app all the controls and event handling for that window must also be Carbon... You might try the carbon list.
I apologize for coming to this thread late. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but I can tell you that you should not use a WDEF to do it. WDEF's are definately old school. These days you should use a custom window based on an HIView.
