Im a bit at a loss if that data is true, we have a Update call that

The seems to be too high to be just people who d/c from the

That seems to be low to me too, though I probably download half again
as much stuff as I ever actually launch.
You might want to have a small launcher that sends the os name and
version to your server, if they are 10.2 or 10.1. I think that is
not that rough a startup tool to create. (I am getting this from the
discussion at <http://www.cocoadev.com/index.pl?LSUIElement>).
I suspect most users will not freak out, at least if you tell them
the purpose is to determine whether you need to support OS versions
you currently do not, and that you do not include identifying marks
and distinctive scars.
In the absence of any other information we have decided that maybe
they are 10.2 users, an OS that we didn't target initially.
Makes sense to me. We had some people running some of our code that
were Java 1.1 for a long time, because they were running Classic.
(Something few Cocoa developers have to care about. :-) )
<g> AFAICS its either that or some windows users are facing
disappointment.
Classic folks, too.
Hence the cross compilation.
Is anyone out there able to help with maybe 20 mins of their time?
Just an attempt to start the application and, assuming it fails, to
send us the console logs would be very useful.
I decommissioned my last 10.2 (and 10.3) machine a while back,
otherwise I would be glad to help.
