SUPER newbie problem

  • Subject: SUPER newbie problem

Please forgive the ignorance of this question, but:

When compiling a cocoa project in Xcode, I click on the hammer and the build fails. Over on the left, there is a Red errors and Warnings selection that I must click on to see the files with errors, then I must click on the first file in order to see the error.

Do I have to do this every time? How do you set it so that the first error just shows up? At least how do I keep the triangle open so that I don't have to open that every time? What does everyone else do when they are debugging?

Thanks
Bob
