i differ with them about "$(NATIVE_ARCH)". when I wanted to build a universal app, i had the following in the arcitecture in the project.
"i386 ppc". mind you, it comes DIRECTLY from the create new project templates. there was a notice once about this subject alone.

This may not be the issue, but I somehow missed the fact that you must
upgrade the target to a "native target" before everything will compile
"universally". I had all the settings you mentioned set, but got no
love until upgrading the target. Once I discovered this, all worked as
advertised.
In the project menu, you will find the "Upgrade Target to Native"
command to perform the step.
HTH!

I've been following the instructions found on this website (http://

application still says that this is a PowerPC application, and not a
Universal application. I've tried cleaning the project and doing a
complete rebuild, but it still says PowerPC.
Any ideas on what I might be missing? I have the Architectures set
to ppc i386, and the SDK has been set to Mac OS 10.4 (Universal).
This is a fairly simple Cocoa app, so there doesn't seem to be much
for outside dependencies.
