Q: "Linking" to mail messages?

  • Subject: Q: "Linking" to mail messages?

Hello,

I want my app to support drag-n-drop with Mail.app, so that dropped messages become links in my document. When the user clicks the link, I want Mail.app to open and display the message. Any pointers on how to accomplish this?

I can query all sorts of information about the message, but it appears I can't determine the file containing the (original or cached) email. A spotlight search, by contrast, does something similar to what I describe above, but it does so by indexing the message files on disk directly.

Thanks,
Len.
