Small version of Square Pulldown NSPopUpButton?

I need a small version of the Square Pulldown NSPopUpButton to fit in with the other small controls in my interface. Unfortunately, IB doesn't allow one to set that particular variant of NSPopUpButton to size Small. So, what's the best approach to get what I need? I'm considering subclassing NSPopUpButton / Cell and setting it to a style that allows the Small size and then tweak the drawing. Better suggestions?
