What would be really useful is if you allowed me to supply the SLA
text as (rich) text files rather than having to deal .rsrc files. As
someone who came to Mac programming only after the advent of OS X,
the resource files seem to be in a somewhat bizarre format and I've
yet to find any decent documentation on how they are supposed to
work. If I could simply provide a set of SLA files as .txt or .rtf
for each language, and specify the default for when I lack the
appropriate translation, it would free me from having to know about
the resources format that Apple seems for the most part to be trying
to deprecate.
