I tried that one [myTable reloadData] as well, that still does not
refresh the table if app's window is not in the foreground.
The table does seem to have/know about the dropped item because as
soon as the window is clicked on to bring it to the foreground the
dropped item is displayed.

I don't mind if I have to programatically make my window the top
window but would rather it stayed in the background and
refreshed... I have also tried [window makeKeyAndOrderFront] but
that did not bring my apps window to the front.
