Hi all, I would like to know what is the job market like for people
with Cocoa and Objective-C experience? I've done some searches and
found a few positions here and there. I'm a little scared by the
difference in the quantity of Objective-C/Cocoa jobs vs. Java, which
I've been doing mostly for the past 8 or 9 years. I'd really like to
get out of Java, I'm bored out of my mind with it and I am not
excited about getting back into MFC. Since I started doing things on
the Mac it's really sparked a new flame in my programmer heart but
I'm a bit wary of jumping ship into a work pool with fewer potential
sources of income (economic recessions included). I might be way off,
it might be that for the positions that are open there aren't enough
Obj-C/Cocoa guys to go around. If that's the case it would be
exciting because I love this platform. There's also the case that
Apple's installed base is growing year by year which just means a
bigger market for more Mac software. But I've said enough. What do
you guys think?
