Well, not really; what if you’re running a German localization, and the title of the “Send” button gets swapped out to “Senden”? Now the button won’t be wide enough for its title.
Cocoa Auto Layout does exactly what it says on the tin; it Automatically does the Layout. This means that the view frames don’t matter. Those get overwritten when the system automatically calculates a new layout for everything based on the constraints.
Would you mind maybe posting the .xib file that’s giving you trouble? I could monkey around with it a bit and see if I could figure out anything that way.
