How does free sound? They actually have a pretty much full featured version
that simply won't function as a server, and logs itself off after a period of
activity. Serves some users needs fine in that configuration...

As to the Rip itself, it has a lot of promise, and improvements coming at a
fairly good clip, but it still has not reached an acceptable level of error
diffusion dithering for many devices. I'l be trying it out next on the
HP2500CP, since that does not make the screening demands of an Epson inkjet,
and waiting for screening upgrades before running another set of tests on the
Epsons.
