named "Tektronix 740 profile". It is visible from the colorsync control
panel, it is visible from the colorsync print dialog box and it is visible
from Photoshop 6 profile view option. However it is not in the system
colorsync folder by that name. When I search with Sherlock it does not show
up anywhere on the hard drive. This profile seems to work well for us and
we were attempting to move it to another computer. Can a profile have a
different working name than file name? Where is it?
Yes a profile can have a different internal name than it's file name.
There is a free application on the ProfileCity.com web site that will
list all the profiles on your hard drive and display the internal
name as well as the file name. This application can assist you
finding the profile.
