Yeah good point. There isn't an easy way around this really. They could
ship the driver with an export plugin for the purpose of printing the
target. The other thing they could do is build a few common targets into
the driver.
Anyway, I think the biggest reason why they aren't doing it is what I
said before. There are so few people who want this feature that it's just
not worth it for Epson or any other inkjet manufacturer to consider
writing such a driver.
Besides, this might all go away with Mac OS X because Quartz can deal
with both RGB and CMYK data. It may be that CMYK/CcMmYK is just too tied
up with the screening algorithms for even Mac OS X to allow for this kind
of CMYK control with ICC profiles.
