Dithering w/ Epson 7500 & Fiery RIP

Anyone care to comment on the ink dithering capabilities of EFI's Fiery
RIP driving Epson's new 7500 printer with the Epson archival inks ? We
have just started testing this combo and my first impressions aren't
good.

Photoshop RGB files seem to print the best, probably because they need
the least processing. The same files when inserted into either Xpress
or Illustrator suffer significant color shifts and very poor dithering.

Apparently we have a good bit of testing to do before we'll be able to
get good quality output. Any comments on coaxing "photo quality" output
from this setup would be appreciated. Thanks.

Barry
