PS6 Use of Monitor Profiles continued

  • Subject: PS6 Use of Monitor Profiles continued

Last week I posted a request for info from anyone who has figured
out how PS6 is using monitor profiles in a dual monitor environment
(Mac OS9.0.4, Colorsync 3, Optical calibration).

So far, I've confirmed that if I open a file on the imaging monitor
and change the Display Profile in the Colorsync Panel (by changing
Control Panels->Monitors->Color on the imaging monitor), the display
does change. So it appears PS6 is using whatever is in there on the
imaging monitor. It does concern me and is at least confusing, for
the Color Settings->Monitor RGB to show the other monitors profile.
Certainly PS5.5 did not show what in RGB Setup.

Can anyone confirm that PS6 is using whatever is in Display Profile
in the Colorsync Control Panel on the imaging monitor in spite of what
Color Settings->Monitor RGB says?

Regards
Bob
