On the subject on Xerox Docu 12 and Rip's:

What's the word on the Fiery XP 12 RIP (I think it's called XP 12) for the
Xerox Docucolor 12?
Will this allow real usage of ICC profiles as in both source and destination
and rendering intents, or does it have some twisted way of doing things as
well (as the Splash)?

I just met with a sales manager from EFI at a clients site today. The RIP we worked with was the X4 connected to a Minolta. I belive they are the same because we still used ColorWise to download profiles. What was explained to me today is the output profile that is downloaded is the simulation for CMYK files and the Simulation profile downloaded is the simulation for RGB files. There is no way to download a custom profile to the copier. As I learn more I will keep the list posted.
