I have found the same to be true for PS 6 > PS 5.02 and PS 5.5, with
ColorMatch RGB and CMYK profiles that I used with Photoshop 5.02 and 5.5
without problems for the past couple of years.
I've experienced this on three machines, a G4 450, 9500/G3 and an 8500/G3,
all running OS 9.01 and ColorSync 3.01.
I haven't had time to check the problem thoroughly, but I'm surprised the
issue wasn't discovered and resolved during beta testing.
