I will try this. I did find that the problem was not present using Gretag
Profile Maker. So the problem is most definitely in the output profile. Now
to figure out how to fix it in the Kodak Profile. So far, my best results
are with the Kodak Profile in regards to shadow detail and gradation
quality. But the dot in the highlight is not good. I guess I can simply edit
the white point of the output profile and remove it. I'll get back to you
when I have more results. What exactly is a scum dot and how do I avoid it?
Is it a shortcoming of the profiling software or a problem with the way the
patch was read?
