Viewing booth lighting

Being in professional photographics labs all my working life. I can say that
in fact you would probably be better off sourcing your own lights. I have
found large differences in the so called "standard" viewing booth lighting.
You would easily be able to get any light that is used in any booth you
might think of purchasing. As for conditions at home you do not need any
special construction. Just use a bit of common sense and try to keep the
area free of any strong colours, buy some gray cloth that you can put up
quickly if it comes to that.

Viewing booths are outrageously expensive and are only useful for impressing
clients. They work well in conjunction with a white lab coat.
